Popcorn Buffet

I’m sure you’ve all seen TONS of sweet and yummy candy displays at various events. What about popcorn? Popcorn buffets are very easy and much less expensive than candy.

Details Party Rental
rents a popcorn machine for $50. We also have a variety of vases and containers you can use to display different varieties of popcorn.

We found easy recipes for caramel popcorn, cheesy-chili popcorn, butter pecan popcorn, and white chocolate popcorn.

You could also serve popcorn toppings with plain, buttered popcorn if you didn’t want to serve all different varieties. Nuts, raisins, salts, M&M’s go great with popcorn!

Don’t forget to label the different popcorns or toppings so guests can choose their favorites! The blue “Popcorn Topped with Love” labels were created by Jessica’s Design Shop and can be purchased from her website.

American Floral Endowment Dinner

We were so excited to be a part of the American Floral Endowment Dinner that took place recently. The new Agrilife Center on the Texas A&M Campus played host to the event and was a beautiful setting for the dinner.

The welcome sign even matched the decor! The new AgriLife center is available for any event, including weddings, and can seat up to 200 guests. Find more information here.

Gold chargers were the perfect accent atop the maroon and gold linens. The tablecloths are "Jacquard Gold Flower" and can be rented from Details Party Rental. We love this color scheme for Texas A&M events.

Thanks to the HORT class who provided all the beautiful centerpieces. They were stunning!

Upcoming Black and Yellow Event

We are preparing some ideas for an upcoming event at the Brazos County Expo Center and thought we would share our inspiration boards with you. The client will use cocktail tables throughout the venue and asked for black, yellow and grey centerpieces. Here are some of our ideas for simple centerpieces!.

We hope to have the black offset vases for rent soon at http://www.detailspartyrental.com! The yellow flowers are called “Billy Buttons” and are very easy to work with. The modern shape makes a statement for little cost. We even found someone on Etsy who makes them out of yarn! The black offset vases make the yellow gerbera daisy pop! Here is a tutorial for making Billy Buttons yourself. http://mrspriss.com/2010/05/30/diy-billy-buttons/

We also ran across a lot of other ideas while doing research for this event. These ideas would be great for a wedding or other themed event!
