Are you ready for some football?

Football season is just around the corner and we couldn't be more excited! (Gig 'em Aggies!) Follow these tips to help you plan the perfect tailgate.

Tailgate Setup

After you've found your place to park, it's time to set up your area for your tailgating party. Open up your table or your tailgate. If it’s hot outside, you may want to purchase or rent a tent. Don’t forget to bring extra chairs. For great prices on tailgate rentals, visit http://www.detailseventrental.com/furniture/tailgate.htm.

Tailgate Food and Drinks

Stick to finger foods that are easy to eat and share. Choose foods like chicken, sandwiches, sausages, hot dogs, burgers and side dishes like chips, corn-on-the-cob, and raw veggies. For great tailgate recipe ideas, visit Celebration's website.

We don't even need to cover the drinks - everyone has a favorite and we trust you have this section already memorized. But, as a backup, you might want to pack some extra water, sports drinks, and even some coffee. Don’t forget cups, bottle openers and extra ice!

If you've chosen to grill some hot dogs, chicken, burgers or sausages for your tailgating party, you're sure to score some real points when you brand your meat with your teams’ logo. These hot dog and hamburger brands from JC Penney and Aggieland Outfitters are awesome!

You can get really creative when displaying condiments.

To make sure you remember to bring everything to the tailgate, we created this Tailgate Packing List.
